Pizza Ovens and Northern Lights (coming in 2027)

Mel Swanlee, a probation officer in Toronto, impulsively accepts a position in Yellowknife, hoping distance will quiet the turmoil she carries. There, a tragic incident forces her into a reckoning she can no longer outrun, drawing her into the teachings and generosity of the Indigenous communities around her. As she confronts her past and her pain, Mel comes to understand that healing and forgiveness are inseparable – and that both require courage, humility, and connection.
